Off from a thrilling 2:1 win over Karela United at Tarkwa, Ashantigold SC will be going on break as a result of the suspension of football activities by the Ghana Football Association.
The decision by the GFA is necessitated by the increasing number of infections of the novel Corona Virus pandemic in Ghana. It is therefore imperative for management to suspend all training activities until further notice.
The technical team has outlined series of training activities to be shared with the playing body whiles they stay at home.
The returning date for the team remains uncertain and is subject to a decision by the Government of Ghana and the GFA on football activities in the country.
Management will closely monitor the situation to inform their decisions on resumption, whiles urging the players, supporters and all officials of the club to remain safe wherever they are.
The secretariat remains open for all administrative activities.
